Payment Methods

Service payments accepted via credit/debit card, cash, or check. Cash and check preferred.
Gratuity accepted in the form of cash or check.

Appointments

All services are by appointment only. When you arrive, please text the studio number (484-302-8558) to inform me you have arrived. When I am ready, I will let you know and meet you at the front door to let you in. Please arrive with clean, dry hair to be prepared for your appointment.

Location

The studio is located conveniently off 113 in Phoenixville. There is a spacious parking lot available. The studio is located inside Sola Salon Studios in the Maple Lawn Village Shopping Center in Phoenixville, PA. You can easily locate the studio by finding the blue circle on the building that says “Sola”. The studio is located next to the ACE Hardware and Planet Fitness.

Cancellations

While I understand scheduling conflicts may occur, I require a minimum of 48 hour notice for any cancellations. Your appointment is reserved exclusively for you. To best serve all guests, cancellations between 24-48 hours will result in a 50% charge to the card on file for the services scheduled. Cancellations within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment and any appointment no-showed will result in a 100% charge to the card on file for the services scheduled. If a no show occurs, a deposit will be required in order to reschedule your appointment.

Tardiness

Here at Melissa Reed Studio we have a 10 minute lateness policy. If you are running late, please text ahead to let us know. Should you arrive beyond 10 minutes late, you may have to forfeit your appointment completely and you will be charged 100% the cost of the services scheduled. Should this happen more than once, it will prohibit you from scheduling future services at Melissa Reed Studio.

Adjustments / Products

I do not offer refunds of any kind for services or refunds/exchanges on products. I pride myself in quality work and happy guests. In the event that you are unhappy with your hair please reach out directly. I will be happy to make adjustments within 1 week of your appointment, anything after 1 week will be subject to charge.

No Additional Guests / Children / Animals

For the safety and sanitation of our guests, Melissa Reed Studio does not allow children, animals or additional guests without an appointment at the salon.

It is my priority to conduct thorough consultations for all services provided through the salon, however it is each client’s personal responsibility to be upfront and honest about their hair history. Any damage caused to the hair as a result of undivulged information during the consultation is not the responsibility of the stylist or salon.
